The Minden Airport (KMNE) is owned and operated by the City of Minden and is located approximately 2 miles Northwest of the historic downtown square. The City takes great pride in providing friendly service to both our local aviation community, as well as our transient clients flying cross-country.
Beginning in late 2016, our facility became a 24/7 operation, after the commissioning of our new terminal and self-serve fuel systems, which are useable outside of our normal business hours. With both full and assisted service 100LL, and assisted service JET A+, the Minden Airport is capable of serving anything from the smallest of general aviation aircraft, all the way up to larger corporate jets and military aircraft.
Aircraft instruction is available through one of our local Certified Flight Instructors, as well as aircraft maintenance through one of several local A&P mechanics.
The Airport has one 5,004’x75’ asphalt runway with various approach procedures including: RNAV (GPS) and VOR/DME-A. An Automated Weather Observation System (AWOS) provides accurate, real-time weather data, and can be reached through radio frequency 119.325, or by calling (318) 371-7874.
